Natural earth from Cyprus, a more neutral brownish hue than that of Italian raw umber (which is more greenish). By its nature it contains Manganese, so it is naturally fast drying. Therefore, the artist should be aware not to layer it over a slower drying oil colour to avoid cracking. In very thin layers it is more yellowish rather than the greenish of the Italian one. Does not contain Zinc.
